What did you get your mom for Mother’s Day? (Gulp)
If you haven’t bought your mom (or your favorite mom-friend, or yourself!) anything for Mother’s Day yet, you might be stressing out because Mother’s Day is this Sunday! But settle down, because I have the top three last-minute, inexpensive gift ideas for you, and an inspirational way to give each of them to your mom.
3. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat
Take your mom to lunch, surprise her with a fun spring-colored nail polish paired with this top-coat, and she will thank you forever. Right now you are probably thinking, “Who has time to paint their nails anymore?” And my answer is EXACTLY. Throw this top coat over any polish and it will dry in seconds. I’m not kidding. Your nails will shine, and people will ask you where you get your nails done. Available at most drugstores, or on Amazon (affiliate link).
2. Havaianas Slim Flip Flops
We’re already seeing 80 degree Portland days this year, and it feels so good to bust the flip-flops out early! Show up at your mom’s with a pair of these Sunday and ask her to take a walk with you! These flips are cute, comfortable, and durable (if the toe part pops out, simply pop it back in). They also come in an endless amount of colors; if the color you want can’t be primed via Amazon (affiliate link) check your local Nordstrom or Macy’s, and they may have them in stock!
And now, my number one go-to gift…for any woman on any occasion…
1. Anthropologie Monogram Mug
This Mother’s Day, make your mom a latte in a new Anthro mug and spend some time catching up with her! I’ve gifted this mug to practically everyone I know. I’m going to have to come up with a new go-to gift pretty soon, but it’s just so cute, so versatile, and so personalized. Order it online or visit one of two Portland Anthropologie locations in NW Portland or Bridgeport Village. You can put a plant inside, fill it with candy, or anything else your mom likes. And did I mention it comes in three designs?
(The gold mug is only available at Christmas and then every January until their stock runs out, so, #holidaygoals.)
