Pacific Northwest summers are a dream, and Portland-area camps bring kids the best of the region. From sports to drama to languages to art, there is something for everyone. That’s why we’re delighted to share with you the 2024 Guide to Portland Summer Camps! We’ve partnered with amazing camps in and around Portland, so your kids can have the most awesome summer yet!

Parkour summer camps are week-long, high-energy, interactive experiences. Every camp includes a warm-up and cool-down, falling safety (ukemi), skill practice, movement games, and obstacle courses. Students learn to move creatively and efficiently in a collaborative, non-competitive social environment. Our camps are 100% outdoors and open to beginner and intermediate students.

Pedalheads is a learn-to-ride week-long bike camp for kids 2 and up, best known for helping kids get off of training wheels and riding on their own. We combine a fun group setting with specialized equipment, tailored cycling curriculum, and incredible instructors to build confidence and get some of the most tentative kids biking on their own. We also offer advanced bike lessons that focus on road safety in addition to, trail riding camps.

Backbeat Music is a year-round music school that offers a range of camps all summer.

  • Try everything camps, where campers try out hundreds of different instruments

St. Mary's Academy Summer Camps

St. Mary’s Academy camps are filled with adventures, hands-on activities, and a variety of fun games to pique every girl’s interests.

Current SMA students serve as camp counselors, facilitating valuable learning experiences and mentoring campers. Attending summer camp is the perfect way to familiarize yourself with the unique educational culture and community of St. Mary’s.

Day camps are for girls entering grades 3-4, 5-6 or 7-8 this fall, and you can claim your daughter’s spot here.

My Gym, Happy Valley

At My Gym camp we activate the fun every single day with energizing games, exciting gymnastics, fun obstacle courses, cool arts and crafts and music that guarantees to keep them moving and engaged. No two days of camp are ever the same!

We will have two weeklong sessions of camp. You are able to purchase one day at a time or sign up for the full week! There are discounts for purchasing multiple sessions, which can also be used for siblings.
