Friends of Tryon Creek is a community supported non-profiting connecting kids to nature since 1970 at Tryon Creek State Natural Area in SW Portland. Tryon Forest Adventures – an active full day outdoor camp experience for ages 7 to 12. Taking place in spring and summer. Youth explore life in the forest by working together to examine the ecology and people that create an interdependent urban park. They interact on a social level to enhance friendship building and learn diverse perspectives.
