We’ve partnered with the best camps in the Portland-area to make sure this summer is the very best yet.

While 2022 has brought on so many changes for our kids, we know camps are still remaining cautious. Because things change quickly, we are including a COVID safety section for participating camps. As we all know, guidelines can change quickly, and we are prepared to make updates to the provided information in real-time, as needed. Plus, many camps add sessions as the season grows — keep checking back for updates!

Camps are held at multiple locations (more locations coming soon!)

Finding the right activities to keep your kids occupied during summer break isn’t the easiest in the time of COVID-19, but Pedalheads has got you covered with their bike and trail camps available in various locations within Portland.

Pedalheads Bike
One of the more unique summer camps you will find, this week-long day camp specializes in helping kids as young as 3 get off training wheels and ride on their own – often within one week! For those with kids already riding independently, Pedalheads also offers advanced bike levels that cover road riding safety. Choose between half-day or all-day.

Pedalheads Trail
This exciting trail riding program is perfect for kids already riding without training wheels but not yet ready or interested to go on the road. Kids ages 4 and up will learn to ride on various surfaces and develop their trail riding skills in this awesome half-day camp. This is a great option for those looking for more riding space and a bit more adventure!

Pedalheads understands the hesitancy around putting kids in any programs this summer. To ensure the health and safety of all camp participants, they have implemented a robust COVID-19 plan which includes physical distancing, small & stable classes with the same instructor, enhanced cleaning procedures, health checks, and more. Additionally, their camps are inherently safe in nature as they are held outdoors where kids mostly stay on their bikes, creating additional physical distancing between kids and groups.
