Maybe it’s because we’ve all been sheltering in place for the last several years months. Or perhaps it’s due to seeing Summertime just beyond the horizon. Whatever the reason, moms (and dads) all over Portland are eager to find their perfect photographer.

And who could blame them? Graduating seniors, front porch sessions, maternity pictures, outdoor family photography, milestone birthday celebrations, you name it. Families are on the hunt to find just the right photographer to provide beautiful images they will cherish for a lifetime.

Hello Portland Moms! I want to be your forever photographer. Let’s talk about what that might mean, shall we?

To me, it is so much more than mastery of lighting and equipment and location. I work diligently on that for sure, so much so that my husband and I have meticulously painted and landscaped our 1908 Portland Classic Craftsman to serve as a collection of fabulous backdrops and vantage points for any occasion and in any season.

My photography is almost equally about being proficient as it is about being engaging and entertaining, especially to the shortest members of your family. Like stand-up comedy with a camera. I can manage littles that are acting a little crazy, and teenagers or husbands not that excited to be here. I can help with what to wear, hair, and makeup if need be too. Check out my reviews, in addition to thanks for excellent images, almost all of them are about excellent experiences. Really, when it comes down to it, that is my thing.

Nadia Chapman is a portrait and fashion photographer. She works with families, individuals, and companies who are looking to capture truth, style, and creativity. Natalie at Studio Nagita Photography specializes in outdoor portrait, family, pregnancy, landscape, and nature photography.

Newborn and boudoir pregnancy sessions are usually done at your home where she uses natural light for her sessions. Natalie captures true and natural moments of you and or your loved ones behind her lens while helping to direct you during your session.

She has a warm personality and makes you feel comfortable around your surroundings as well as making it an enjoyable experience. Her motto is “Pausing the moments and making them memorable”.

I am a photographer of all things but my specialties are children, families, and babies.

My aim is to capture images that truly represent your life. There is real beauty in the chaos of everyday life and my passion is portraying the movement and mess of it.

Molly Yi is a portrait photographer and a local mom offering photography services including family, maternity, and newborn portraits as well as engagements and weddings.

Her current obsession is maternity sessions and (lucky for her clients) she offers a diverse and beautiful, size-inclusive maternity wardrobe.

Molly loves discovering new locations for photo sessions and keeping up to date on the newest photography techniques. Her style is natural and minimalistic, using few props. She works within the setting, whether it’s a beach, forest, or studio, to create beautiful photos that reflect your personality and emotion.
