Recap: Tone F1tness Mom’s Night Out

0

At a sold out Mom’s Night Out last Thursday we welcomed 30 area moms to the Tone F1tness studio in Beaverton’s Progress Ridge. Here’s a glimpse of the experience–minus the sore muscles that many were feeling the next day! {Event Sponsored by Tone F1tness}

The Location

The all new Tone F1tness is a gorgeous space that includes a studio for bike and bootcamp workouts, plus a separate yoga studio. They have a spacious reception area and fully equipped men’s and women’s locker rooms. They also have an amazing child care space where quality, agenda-based child care is provided. (Kids 7-13 can also try their KIdF1T class!) It was truly the perfect location for a Mom’s Night Out focused on fitness and health!

The Workouts

Perhaps not for the faint of heart, attendees conquered a tri-tonal workout, which included 30 minute versions of three different Tone workouts!

First was an intense total body cardio workout on the bikes for TONER1DE. Music, lights, and a packed studio kept everyone moving in sync to the beat.

Up next was TONEBOOTCAMP with high intensity interval training offering both cardio and strength exercises. When the weather cooperates–like it did Thursday night–bootcamp heads outdoors for large portions of the workout.

We wrapped up the workout with calming and restorative TONEZEN yoga, and some also sampled Buti yoga, which combines traditional yoga with energizing dance elements.

Food and Drink

We definitely worked up an appetite, and Pick Your Dish–a local business delivering freshly prepared meals to busy families–was there to provide our meal with amazing salads, sliders and sides – all healthy and DELICIOUS! They regularly deliver meals right to Tone F1tness – so if you’re in a time crunch, come get ‘toned’ while your kids are cared for and then have a homemade meal waiting for you after class. All you have to do is place it in the oven when you get home!

The pop-up bakery Sweet Start PDX was also in the house to fuel attendees both before and in between workouts with their baked goods featuring organic and local ingredients.

Finally, we also had the chance to trade our water bottles for some great Kombucha drinks from The Growlerie.
