Yoga for Rejuvenation

Moms were grinning last Saturday at the first PMB Moms Night Out of 2017 at The Grinning Yogi on SE Division. The wall-to-wall-packed event kicked off with a relaxing and rejuvenating full yoga session led by Tori from The Grinning Yogi. With the beautiful studio mural as a backdrop, Tori walked guests through poses and meditations focused on self-care, creating space, and trusting oneself as a mama. Novices and experts alike agreed that it was a restorative experience. One attendee said, “Oh… that was amazing. I so needed that!”

Newly relaxed and refreshed, it was time to put away the mats and enjoy some treats. One Love Cellars was on hand to provide tastings of their delightful Oregon-made wine, poured by the mother-daughter duo behind the label. Boozehound Baked Goods wowed the crowd with their delicious, booze-infused cupcakes in four different flavors.

Raffles and Swag!

While the moms filled their tummies after feeding their souls, everyone enjoyed a giveaway raffle. A few mamas were lucky winners of gift certificates from local businesses Field Trip, Eb & Bean, and New Seasons. Several other mamas won a variety of doTerra products while one guest walked away with the very yoga-appropriate signed “Breathe,” courtesy of Schoolhouse Signs.

No attendee left empty-handed thanks to our swag partners, who provided goodies and treats for all: much thanks to Symbiosis Printing, All Families Surrogacy, Carter & Rose, Mom Made Shop, Vitality NW, and Vega! The Grinning Yogi even offered each guest a complimentary yoga class!

Moms Love Moms Night Out

Every mom deserves a break. At the end of the evening, many of the moms who attended asked when PMB will host another Moms Night Out event. For specifics on upcoming events, be sure to follow us on Facebook and check in on our PMB Events page!
