Ain’t No Party Like A Costco Party

It’s official: Portland loves Costco. lines

Last Friday’s Costco Mom Hour did not disappoint. With four participating stores across the metro area, we estimate that almost 1200 guests showed up for the party!

If you were one of the guests in line by 8:15 am, your dedication was likely rewarded with one of the 100 free swag bags offered at each location. And how amazing were those swag bags? Samples of detergent, snacks, cleaning supplies, and beverages made for a perfect party favor.

Regardless of whether or not you scored the bag of goodies, all guests were invited to enjoy a delicious continental breakfast of muffins, danishes, orange juice, coffee, fresh fruit, and protein bars for the road.

boysWith endless samples at the end of almost every aisle and Christmas music playing in the background, shoppers definitely left ready for the holidays. And to help us remember the morning, many of the sites set up adorable photo booths with the epic giant teddy bears.

A HUGE “thank you” to the many Portland Mom Blog Contributors who volunteered as representatives in each store. We are also very grateful to the Costco team members who worked so hard to make this event such a smashing success. With the holidays just around the corner, it’s nice to know we’ve got a friend like Costco!

We hope you’ll join us at our next Portland Moms Blog event!
