This group provides a weekly forum for parents/caregivers to join together in community and learn with and from one another about intentional, attentive caregiving through the lens of Magda Gerber’s respectful approach to infant care. The group offers a place to regularly connect and build relationships with other parents in a safe, relaxed, respectful and non-judgemental space.

The group will be led by a RIE trained facilitator who has supported and empowered children and families for more than two decades as a social worker, early childhood educator, caregiver and parent educator.

The isolation and anxiety that so often accompany being the parent of an infant or young child have only been exacerbated by the challenges of living during a global pandemic, especially with guidelines for social distancing. While we would all much prefer to be together in person, in the meantime, we meet via Zoom on Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am PST. This 8 week session will begin once the class fills.
